At CodeAddon Forms, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

1. What data we collect
Your account email (from Google sign-in via the add-on), your form settings, and usage counters (submission and email counts). We do not see or need your Google password.
2. Your form submissions — stored honestly
How your form submissions are handled depends on your plan:
- Free plan: submission content is written directly to your Google Sheet and is not stored on our servers. We keep only small counters (how many submissions this month) to enforce quotas and power your stat tiles.
- Essential and Pro plans (Cloud Backup): in addition to writing to your sheet, we store a copy of each submission's content on our servers for 30 days (Essential) or 90 days (Pro), so you can browse it, export it as CSV, or restore it into your sheet. These copies are automatically and permanently deleted after that window.
On every plan, your Google Sheet keeps every submission forever — that copy is yours and we never delete it.
3. Sheet access
We access your Google Sheet using a dedicated service account that you explicitly grant editor access to when you create a form link. We only read and write to the specific sheet tab you connect — we do not access any other file in your Drive.
4. Email delivery
If you enable email alerts or auto-response, submission data needed to compose that email (e.g. the submitter's name, message, or the merge-tag fields you configure) is passed to Resend, our email delivery provider, solely to send that message. Resend acts as our data processor and does not use this data for any other purpose.
5. Payment processing
Subscription payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — Stripe shares with us only what's needed to manage your subscription (plan, status, billing dates).
6. Data retention
Account and form settings are kept for as long as your account exists. Cloud Backup submission copies expire automatically after 30 or 90 days depending on plan. Free-plan usage counters reset monthly and are not submission content.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's privacy
Our Service is not directed at anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with the "Last updated" date revised accordingly.
10. Google API Services User Data Policy
CodeAddon Forms's use of information received from Google APIs is limited solely to providing and improving CodeAddon Forms features — writing your form submissions to the Google Sheet you connect. Google user data is not used for advertising, is not used for any purpose unrelated to the add-on, and is not transferred to others except as necessary to provide the service (e.g. to your own connected sheet). CodeAddon Forms does not use any AI model or AI service, proprietary or third-party, to process Google user data.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
